Stephanie Wong
Physiotherapist
Stephanie obtained her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from The University of Alberta after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at The University of Calgary. She strongly believes in seeing the body as a whole and provides manual techniques coupled with movement-based therapy to help her client’s achieve specific goals. Stephanie believes in providing her clients with education and exercises that can be implemented into their everyday life. In addition to her time at Aeris, Stephanie also works at the hospital, community, and tele-rehabilitation setting providing care to neurological clients who have strokes, traumatic brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, vestibular and balance deficits.
Since graduation, she has completed post-graduate courses which include the following: Introductory and Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation, 15 Day Basic Bobath Certificate on Assessment and Treatment of Adults with Neurological Conditions, and additional Bobath courses on core control, upper and lower limb movement in relation to function and locomotion.
Stephanie is fluent in English, Cantonese, and has a working knowledge in Mandarin. Outside of the clinic, she lives an active lifestyle and can be found biking, climbing, and playing different sports.
